Particularily powerful in Luck, healing, Strength, protection, beauty and love oriented work. Often in used in many magical workings. It makes a particularily powerful amunlet when worn to protect from negative energies. Children can wear it as a gaurd for their health. To protect oneself against subject seriously heavy negativity, sit in front of a lit white candle (on the floor) with a handful of amber beads, using them to create a circle around yourself. You can also draw a bath with 9 beads of amber in it. Retireve the beads after your bath, and carry until the next one. Larges pieces of amber placed on the altar are said to increase the power of the spell being cast. Also great for to increase strength, business success, stimulate money flow, and works well in attraction spells (ie... Drawing in Love, Money, power & success).
Amber is often said that when worn-will enhance one's natural beauty, attract friends to the lonely, & attract happiness. Also said to be highly magnetic and sensual. Said to increase the enjoyabilities of certain activities of pleasure, is also said to attract love. It is rumored one can small pieces of amber can be added to herbal-love mixtures, or worn near the heart to attract a mate. Also rumored to encourage conception in women who wore fetish charms in shapes such as Rabbits, fish, mice, etc... It is said Men could fight impotency by wearing the same, in the fetish styles of Wolves, Lions, & Dragons.
Worn as a talisman, amulet or necklace of beads, Amber can promote: prevention or relief of Rhumetisim, Asthma, Toothaches, Digestive tract troubles, most internal ailmnts, Convulsions, Insanity, Sore throats, Ear aches, Deafness. It is said to strengthen eyesight when carried, and can do the same if you look through it. A ball of Amber held in the hands is rumored to reduce fever. A bit of time ago the powdered amber was burt so the piney smoke could be sniffed to hault a nose bleed (although I do not know if I would reccomend this, as I am not sure what sort of chemicals might be released, and if it would even be legal).
Rumored to date back as far back as 8000BCE (before common era), Amber is the oldest substance to be used for human adornment. This is actually not a stone, gem, metal, etc... but the fossilized resin of conifer trees. And it often contains bits of insects and plant materials that were tapped in it so many years ago. Amber ranges in color from Cherry, to Yellow, To Green, To Golden Brown or Topaz in color. An odd result of this is that Amber has a warmth to it's touch vs. a regular stone... and is often though to "contain life." This explains why it is realted to Akasha. You can cause amber to become electrically charged when rubed against silk, wool, or similar materials.
Also stabilizes the entire Emotional Body & Hara System. Promotes certainty of one's own path in life, their choices, their mental & emotional strengths. Aids in balancing, cleansing and aura healing. Can also help to repair auras from tears and rips due to overly quick emtional cleansings of karma. Removes negative agents, psychic attacks, and lessen damage doen from anestetics. When used in healing work, it can aid in protecting the healer from other's pain that they are taking on. Protects against psychic attack, energy intrusion, psychic draining/psychic vampires, and is highly calming.
