The Elements
Yellow is the color of Air:
Of winds blown strong and winds blown fair.
Red belongs to flames and Fire,
Burning brightly on the pyre.
If Water is your quest, use blue
Tides rise and fall in azure hue.
The tint of Mother Earth is green...
Calm and peaceful and serene.
In your mind, these colors gel:
And they will serve you very well!

Because every Element is different in quality, substance, and principle, I've outlined them separately for your convenience. Study these at length, learn them well, and before long, using the Elements to your best benefit will become second nature. The payoff is well worth the effort.
FIRE
Color:Red
Direction: South
Body Rulership: Head, neck, shoulders, and arms
A magical force that we can see and hear flows through the matrix of the Fire Element and brings it to life. We see it in the spark and dance of the flame, and hear it pop and crackle on the hearth fire. Because it reacts similarly to electricity and holds a positive charge, we call this force electrical fluid. It relates directly to the expansion qualities of Fire, is red in color, and controls the head, neck, and shoulders.
FIRE POLARITY CHART
~~Active~~ ~~Passive~~
Action Eagerness Distruction Gluttony
Intrest Productivity Intolerance Jealousy
Courage Enthusiasm Devastation Hatred
Movement Resolution Irritability Overindulgence
WATER
Color: Blue
Direction: West
Body Rulership: Abdomen and human emotion
Unlike Fire, magnetic qualities flow through the core of the Water Element. We feel its pull in the current of the river and see it when the tides roll in at the rise of the Moon. This force is called 'magnetic fluid'. It holds a negative charge and is directly linked to the cool, shrinking, contracting characteristics of Water.
WATER POLARITY CHART
~~Active~~ ~~Passive~~
Compassion Modesty Anger Indifference
Devotion Nurturement Bitterness Selfishness
Forgiveness Serenity Depression Stagnation
Love Tenderness Guilt Timidity
AIR
Color: Yellow
Direction: East
Body Rulership: Chest and lungs
Carrying the qualities of both humidity and dryness, the Air Element has a special relationship with the Elements of Fire and Water. It feeds the Fire and gives it power. It changes the structual density of Water and turns it into fog, rain, sleet, and snow. But best of all, Air forms a mediatorial bridge, or electrical ground, between Fire and Water. This is important because Fire and Water operate independently on opposite poles. The bridge formed by Air, though, gives them an opportunity to mix and mingle, and take shape as steam, smoke, and lightning.
AIR POLARITY CHART
~~Active~~ ~~Passive~~
Cheerfulness Inspiration Contempt Indecisiveness
Dexterity Joy Fickleness Ruthlessness
Diligence Optimism Gossiping Sneakiness
Gentleness Playfulness Incapacitation Weakness
EARTH
Color: Green
Direction: North
Body Rulership: Feet, legs, and bowels
The Earth Element works independently of Fire, Water, and Air; it contains all of these Elements in their most solid forms. Together they form rock, lava, glaciers, and provide a firm surface for our planet. In various combinations, they also determine the consistency of the soil, making it rich, moist, warm, and dusty. Because Earth actively involves the other three Elements and takes its life source from their combination, we call its force 'electromagnetic fluid'.
EARTH POLARITY CHART
~~Active~~ ~~Passive~~
Confidence Respect Apathy Inertia
Endurance Responsibility Boredom Pessimism
Patience Sincerity Deceit Tardiness
Punctuality Tenacity Distrust Unreliability
