When I was taken back in a past life regression I found myself an Indian woman in her teens. the location was near the Red River in Lousianna. There were trappers all over and Indians that traded with the white people.. In this life my hair was very long, and I was a slender teen.
The Indian tribe was Camanche. I worked with my mother at a resteraunt. The place was very woody and dark inside and even though there were windows and lanturns things inside of the resteraunt were not well lit.
I remember being taken by a trapper. watching my mother cry along the shore of the river and another man paddled the boat. I had a hand over my mouth as I cried. I knew that I would never return. This same man took me for his wife. I never fully learned his language, he smoked cigars and was away for months at a time trading with other tribes up and down the river. I never did see my mother again or any of my family. I was made to be a lady, dress like a white woman when I showd my face. When I was in the cabin were we lived I wore deer hide dresses with fringe...I saved the feathers from the birds he killed. I kept to my sacred ways. I had a garden near the house and I grew herbs. For a long while I just kept to myself...but then people became sick Small Poxs was going around. I would not let my children near the white people except for thier grandparents and a few close neighbors. when small poxs broke out I was urged to take my herbs by my husband and show the whites the healing ways. My husband stood behind me as I had worked with my herbal concoctions many times when he had came home from a winter run and was sick.
So it was then that I became a Medicine woman to the white people. Sometimes I hated this, for they took me and some others from our families and tribes, they also kept us apart from one another. Most of my love was for the children and healing them.
I had three children of my own in this life time...The oldest was male and his father wanted his name to be Benjamin Thomas ...he was a bear man from the moment his dark eyes babbie turned brown. He was strong and wise, carring and protective. then there was Jeramiah Williams he was sinsative, quiet yet nothing escaped his eyes he was swift and cunning, reminded me of a Hawk. Last came Monica Marie She was soo much like me, the boys were in many ways as wlel but thier father lead them into the whites man world early on because they were men. Monica was a wise woman even through her child like eyes, she knew much more then others her own age. She spoke with a Camanche spirit, and I held her near my heart and taught her the ways. I took her out deep into the woods, showd her rituals I was taught as a child. I showd her how to use Fox magic. How to weave like the Spider amongst the white man and not lose her power. My daughter was a Wolf Woman and so between her n I I bestowed her a true Indian name Silver Shadow Wolf. She would have to walk in the shadow of the white people , but she would walk in the shadow of spiritual light...so Silver and pure ...and one day she would find her way back to our people
