Dragon Magic with Snow Dragon
Level 2 Meditation
Now that we have advanced beyond the first level of meditation while working with Dragon Magic, We will start slowly onto advancing onto level 2.
In these exercises, we will learn how to move into hightened level of sensativity. Why you ask? simple really. It is to help with recognizing thepresence of dragons and allowing yourself to experience things at a higher level.
Since this will be from meditation, it can be highly stimulating and mentally exhausting for beginners, so please be cautious when doing any of these higher level meditations. They can cause nausea, headache, dizziness and fainting, as well as more serious problems if you should suddenly end without coming back down to earth so to speak. Please make sure that you will have, at the very least, an hour to yourself where you will not be interupted.
We will go through this meditation in steps, to allow the inexperienced learner time to practice through each step before practicing the next. There will be 4 steps. We will call them 'build-up', base, hightened, and 'bring-down'.
step 1 Build-Up
In this step, we will deal with what you will need to start off, and how to sit and get ready for this meditation.
Now, for this meditation, i highly recommend Frankinscense. whether powered, oil, incense of even yes, smudge sticks. I do not recommend the smudge sticks as much as the incense or oil. I really recommend the oil the most, because it lasts longer then the incense. Also, you may use any incense that helps with mental or psychic abilities. You will find more information on incense and oils, potions and brews on the appropriate boards.
For this meditation, you should shit as straight as possible. slouching or bending can cause not only aches, but it doesnt keep your flow steady. If you believe you can not stit upright for any long period of time, i recomend sitting in a chair, or leaning your back against a wall or tree or such to keep yourself supported.
When you sit, it is best to cross your legs and make sure that it is not uncomfortable to do so. also, try not to sit on your feet or lower legs. this could cut off blood flow and create 'sleeping' limbs. The pins and needles effect and numbness are symptoms of sleeping limbs.
To get started, we will want some drumming music. preferably with no words. If it can play until the end of the meditation would be a plus, so a cd with several tracks or a song on repeat will do.
After the oil is lit, and the music is going, we will sit in the position stated above. We will close our eyes and take deep breathes. Listen to the music. Picture yourself in front of the drums. YOU are playing the music. Now our meditation begins.
step 2 Base
After we have begun, we will be seeing ourselves playing the drums. We will be just playing at first. As we play, the world around us gets smaller and smaller until it is just us, the drums and the music. All we breathe is the music, all we hear is the music.
Once we have gotten to the point of existing only for the music, only for the drums, we will start focusing. As we play the drums, we will see colors start to vibrate from the drums. At first they will be slightly noticeable, then they will start to vibrate faster. Soon, we will FEEL them vibrate. The colors and sounds will vibrate through us.
step 3 Hightened
Once the colors start to vibrate faster and we can feel them vibrate through us, we will then be ready for the hightened level of the meditaion. What is that you ask? Its the part of the meditation where you reach the highest peak of sensativity.
Now, as the colors vibrate through us, we will start 'releasing' the colors from ourselves and letting them float out into the world. Now would be the time that you may experience a tingling sensation all over. This is normal and nothing to be afraid of.
This is what we call the hightened level of sensativity. We are trying to acheive the tingly sensation. It can be anything from an itchy sensation, to being a shiver that travels down your spine. Once the sensation has been reached, we move onto the best part of the hightened level in this meditation.
The colors come faster until they blend into one big color palette. The colors all blend together and all you can see are all the various colors. You can still feel them vibrate through you and you are stil releasing them into the world beyond yourself. as you play the drums, you are then being lifted from the spot your in. The colors come up and wrap around you. They start circling and circling until they are too fast to see.
Around this point, you will probably have a bit of a 'burst' where the colors splash into each other. Its highly common.
Step 4 Bring-down
Since the sensation has been reached, we can build-down. As you music plays, we will go backwards. The colors will start coming slower, vibrate less and less, until the colors arent there, and you become more and more aware of your surroundings.
Because of the mental stress this can put you under, please remember to not stop in the middle. always bring yourself back down to earth, so to speak.
Once you become fully aware of your surroundings, slowly open your eyes. it may be bright at first or even a bit fuzzy, but it passes. also, because of the time you spent in one position, it is not suggested to get up quickly. That can cause dizziness.
It may take you more then one try to get the sensation of higher sensativity that we were seeking. You may remain sensative for a few hours, or even a few days.
Did you feel your dragon? some other being? if you reached the higher sensativity level, you will know if there was a dragon or other being with you.
