Man greets the morning in many ways, Usually with a grumble. Proclaiming that the world is wrong, His life is wrong. Condeming his maker day after day. The Great Spirit gave the tiniest birds their lovely song. He gave them beauty, EAch kind different from another. He made man the same. Are you saying Great Spirit is wrong? The tiny bird labors long Building a new hom evcery season. He is considerate of his mate, Carrying food while she's nesting, Never deserting her without reason. He cares for his offspring, Feeding them, guiding each one Until all are ready to be on their own. When his cycle is completed, a new life begins. Those duties are done. His joy is in doing. Have you ever seen a lazy bird? He sings as he toils, Does his work in its time with joy. Listen, Oh Man, Listen to my word. Take a lesson from the birds. Build your homes, care for your wife, TEach your children. Sing, look ahead, be joyous. When this cycle is ended, there will be a new life.
