This spell must be cast on a waxing Moon-the symbol of pregnancy and fertility-and on a Monday, day of the Moon, ruler of women's reproductive cycles. There needs to be a clear night sky, with the Moon already risen.
Sometimes, even when the experts have checked everything out and have confirmed that there are no medical problems, people continue to have problems conceiving. If there are no apparent medical reasons why a person or couple should not conseive, then this spell is ideal.
In the past, couples trying for a baby have been advised to make love near or on ancient sacred sites-sometimes with impressive results! This spell does not require any midnight outings to windy hillsides-instead you can get the ingredients for it in your local gardening store. The principles by which this spell operates echo those of the ancients in that, just like the monuments they created, it uses external symbols of fertility and links human reproductive cycles with the cycles of the Earth and Moon.
You will need:
1 packet nasturtium seeds
1 white or silver candle
1 wineglass of water
Enough potting compost to fill the tray
1 small seedling try,
approximately 10 by 14 inches
Nasturtium Spell
The wineglass of water should be left out under the light of the Moon for an hour before it is brought in to use in the spell on the same night. Place the compost in the seedling tray prior to casting the circle.
Visualize a circle of moonlight around your working space.
Light the candle, saying: "Grandmother Moon, ruler of the tides and the cycle of new life, Make our fertile tides meet and the seed be planted for new life."
Place all the seeds in your supped hands, hold them up before the candle, and say: "Seeds that grow in barren soil, Flowers that bloom in deepest shade, Hold within my dearest wish, That from my love a child be made."
Breathe one long warm breath over the seeds, then sow them according to the packet instructions, chanting the following over and over again (at least nine times): "She changes everything she touches, And everything she touches changes."
Water the newly sown seeds with the Moon-charged water in the wineglass, which should start them growing nicely.
Place the tray on a warm windowsill in the moonlight, or somewhere warm and open to daylight.
Aftercare: Water and care for the seedlings as they grow. When they are bigger, you can plant them in the garden or in pots. Nasturtiums are happy in shade and often grow well in soil that would not sustain other plants. All parts of the plant are edible, full of vitamins and minerals, and suitable for salads. Eat them as often as you like once the plants are established. Bless you!
