Ingredients: 2 extra ripe, large bananas, peeled 1/3 cup butter 2/3 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon buttermilk 3/4 cup chopped nuts Puree bananas in blender (1 1/4cups). Cream butter with sugar until light and fluff. Beat in bananas and eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to banana mixture alternatly in thirds with buttermilk, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased, 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 350 F for 50-60 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes, then turn it over and put loaf on rack to conplete cooling. Makes 1 loaf
